As part of CES 2025, Hisense has unveiled its first Smart Hub refrigerator for an enhanced product experience. Using AI-powered features and connectivity through the ConnectLife platform, the new appliance will reshape how Australians utilise their kitchens.

The ConnectLife-enabled Smart Hub refrigerator is the first Hisense fridge able to connect to the centralised home hub. Featuring a user-friendly touchscreen, it enables customers to streamline daily tasks and food management.

ConnectLife is Hisense’s smart home app, allowing customers to manage and monitor Hisense compatible smart home appliances from any location at any time. It is available on Apple iOS and Android smartphones, and through the VIDAA platform.

New ConnectLife kitchen appliances are designed to increase convenience and automation. Dish Designer is an AI-powered assistant which can suggest personalised recipes based on available ingredients, dietary restrictions and preferences. The ConnectLife Meal Planner helps households to plan weekly meals with AI-powered suggestions that consider ingredients already in the house. The Meal Planner will also customise recipes to align with individual preferences.

The SmartHub refrigerator is designed to reduce food waste using My Fresh Choice technology. Adaptable storage zones easily switch between fridge and freezer settings, keeping produce at temperatures between -20 degrees Celsius and 5 degrees Celsius to preserve fresh food for longer.

Tracking food inventory, setting reminders for expiry dates and minimising waste with suggested Dish Designer recipes that use ingredients before they expire, are all features available on the ConnectLife app. ConnectLife will also keep track of energy and water consumption.

The Hisense Smart Hub refrigerator will be released in the Australian market in 2025, with pricing and availability details to come.
