Gaming brand Razer announced the company’s latest range of high-performance Blade laptops at CES in Las Vegas.

The new line of laptops will come in 14-, 15-, and 17-inch variants, packed with the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series Laptop GPUs, up to the RTX 3080 Ti, ideal for content creators and gamers wanting to maximise graphical settings.

Each of the new Razer Blades will feature Windows 11 pre-installed and include DDR5 memory with clock speeds of up to 4800MHz for faster processing speeds, up to 50% higher than the previous generation of Blades.

The Razer Blade 14 will ship with the latest AMD Ryzen 9 processor, while the 15- and 17-inch models will have the newest 12th Gen Intel Core H-Series Processors with up to 14 cores, up from the previous 8-core models, ideal for multitasking.

“The Razer Blade series continues to be the best gaming laptop by providing desktop-class performance on-the-go,” Razer senior director of systems business, Travis Furst said.

“Additionally, we’ve enabled creators to work anywhere with gorgeous displays, available NVIDIA Studio drivers, and up to 14-Core CPUs. Users will have the ability to choose any model or configuration that best fits their gaming or creating needs, while getting the latest and greatest in graphics, memory and processing technology.”

For extra peace of mind, the new generation of Razer Blades will include a new extended battery warranty of up to two years.

Also announced at CES was Razer’s expansion into the smart home market with the new Razer Smart Home Application, designed to be a one-stop destination for users to manage all their smart home devices including supported hardware partners such as Nanoleaf and Razer Chroma RGB lighting technology.

“The future of smart home living has never looked this bright,” Razer vice-president of growth, Richard Hashim said. “Razer Chroma RGB has been a fan-favourite since its inception, and today Razer marries technology and functionality in the Razer Smart Home App, enabling users with complete creative control over their environment.”

Razer also unveiled the Enki Pro Hypersense, a gaming chair equipped with high-fidelity haptic technology to give gamers the most immersive experience possible. More information including availability will be revealed at a later date.

The Razer Blade laptops are due to be available at retailers by Q1 2022, while the Razer Smart Home Application is due to launch during the first half of 2022.
