Catch.com.au is offering a one-time $20 off to all new Zip customers for purchases over $50 (excluding shipping, membership fees and gift cards) during the month of July, enabling shoppers to pay for their Catch purchases from $10 per week with no upfront payment.

Spending at online marketplaces was up 93% year-on-year in April, according to a recent Zip Spending Index, and now more than two million Australians are using buy now pay later (BNPL) service, Zip.

Catch chief marketing officer, Ryan Gracie predicts that shoppers will take advantage of the BNPL option when making purchases – big or small.

“We are excited to offer even more value for Catch customers. People are looking for payment solutions that suit their individual needs and budget. BNPL services can be a lifesaver when making bigger purchases. Getting $20 off the first purchase is a great bonus for Catch shoppers who have not yet tried Zip.”

Zip chief commercial officer, Hamish Moline added that Zip is excited to continue its partnership with Catch.

“The big change during COVID-19 is the shift Australians made to online shopping to purchase everyday necessities. We don’t expect to see the rise of online shopping ending anytime soon.”
