Acknowledges member achievements.
Sun, surf, sand and celebration was on the agenda at the BSR Group 13th national conference in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Over 250 guests were treated to a range of presentations from BSR management, an Australian music industry icon, a futurist, a decorated war hero, retail industry icons, a GM of a national sporting team and a mentalist.
Betta Home Living chief marketing officer, Adrian Mitchell told Appliance Retailer that the response to this year’s speakers and their content was tremendous. “Based on the feedback we’ve received, there is no doubt that this conference will go down as the best yet.”
The event culminates with the awards dinner on the final night, where all guests gather to celebrate another successful year. With a range of awards handed out on the night, special mention was made to John Alan Betta Home Living (VIC), who took out Electrical Retailer of the Year and Chinchilla Betta Home Living (QLD), who won Furniture Retailer of the Year.
“Whilst we recognise a number of our members for their specific achievements, congratulations must go to all members of the BSR family. The market has been tough in recent times, however as a group, we’ve been able to buck that trend and show continued growth ahead of the market in a number of key categories. This is a testament to the tireless efforts of our members and their staff, the national support office and the ongoing support of our key supplier partners,” Mitchell said.
