The Block has returned for a new season on Channel 9 with Bosch, Siemens and NEFF as the suppliers of kitchen and laundry appliances for the fifth consecutive year.
A kitchen full of Gaggenau appliances, valued at $120,000, was won by The Block couple, Jimmy and Tam, who were awarded first place for their guest bedroom reveal.
“Being part of the outstanding design that The Block is known for is a great opportunity to show our appliances in a real-life setting and to inspire viewers for their own kitchen design,” BSH Home Appliances head of marketing communications, Jacqui Howard said.
This season of The Block is set in Brighton, Victoria and sees five teams renovating five houses, each from a different decade – the 1910s, 1920s, 1930s, 1940s and 1950s. The period homes have been transported to a 2,761-square metre block of land.
