BSH’s involvement with the INDE.Awards is continuing with Gaggenau and Bosch appliance sponsorships in two categories.

The awards are the Indo-Pacific’s first and only design awards program celebrating the most progressive architecture and design in the region.

BSH has been a sponsor since the awards were launched in 2017, with Gaggenau a partner in The Living Space category. Bosch became a partner in 2018 when the Multi-Residential Building category was launched.

“It was our objective since the inception of the awards to support the ongoing development of design throughout Asia Pacific, recognising the most inspiring homes within the region and this still stands true today,” BSH general manager, Robert Warner (pictured) said.

“We view the kitchen as the central hub of the home and this is why Gaggenau continue to support The Living Space.”

Warner said the multi-residential building has seen a dramatic change over the past few years. “It had primarily catered to more affordable and basic living needs, but recently we have seen a surge in all types of application to deal with the varying needs of its inhabitants. Regardless of the level of specification, we see a growing demand from consumers to live in beautiful, simple and functional spaces.

“Bosch highly value good form and function within every product we produce and it is this mindset that drives us to support the INDE.Awards again in 2020,” he said. “It is this union of regional and global influences and collaboration between firms that drives original design and I hope to see something I have never seen before.”

This year the INDE.Awards received 473 entries, a 10% increase from 2019, with architects and designers submitting from 14 countries in the region. Winners will be announced at a Digital Gala on August 13 2020.
