Publicly listed electronics company Mint Technology has appointed The Retail Sales Team as its sales agency. Mint Technology markets the iDect brand of home phones and a range of smartphone accessories.

Mint Technology statement:

The company anticipates that, with the help of The Retail Sales Team’s national presence in Australia, Mint Technology will be able to expand its reach, improve store level product knowledge and that the partnership will lead to improved levels of support and new opportunities for business.

“Our aim is to constantly improve our customers’ experience in every facet, so expanding our field sales and support network, and being in regular face-to-face contact with our customers, is key to accomplishing that goal,” said Mint Technology MD Kuni Ishii.

“Partnering with Mint Technology will further strengthen our position as the premier destination for consumer electronics retail sales support teams. The Retail Sales Team will ensure the work with Mint will cultivate and expand its local customer base,” said Mark York, manager of The Retail Sales Team.

York told Current.com.au that The Retail Sales Team will be representing all Mint products and will be selling into a wide range of CE and IT outlets, as well as FMCG, pet care and hardware stores.

“The Retail Sales Team will provide a Sales manager to attend buyer meetings at retail head offices Australia-wide,” he said. “We will be responsible for physically calling on the retail outlets around Australia to promote the full range of Mint Products and train the staff on their use as well as introduce them to some of the new products coming through in the next few weeks.”

The Retail Sales Team currently covers all of Australia except Tasmania and Darwin, in the Northern Territory, York said.
