Bora has added two new design options – Induction wok and Hyper Ceramic cooktop – to the combination of cooktops consumers can select when purchasing the Bora Professional.

A total of eight cooktops are now available in the combined cooking and downdraft extraction system. Surface induction, induction, HiLight cooktop with or without roaster, Hyper or gas cooktop, wok, or Tepan stainless steel grill can all be freely combined and are available in the recirculated air and exhaust air versions.

The Bora Professional begins at RRP $9,000 which includes the extractor and two ceramic cooktops and the system price changes with the cooktop selection.

The wide choice of cooktops gives designers more planning freedom than ever before and consumers more choice to match their product features to what they like to cook.

“My aim was to create a high-performance product that offers both planning freedom and functionality as well as an extraordinary design. During the development phase I focused on the particular needs of sophisticated amateur cooks who are unwilling to compromise,” said Willi Bruckbauer inventor and Bora company founder.

The cooktop has an extra-deep design of 54 centimetres to work simultaneously with two large saucepans or frying pans on the front and back cooking zones.
