Customer engagement built on long-lasting relationships is the secret to The Good Guys’ success, according to chairman Andrew Muir.

Having last night vanquished rival retailers Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, Dick Smith, Retravision, Betta Home Living, Ikea and Fantastic Furniture to be named the Furniture/Electrical Store of the Year for the fourth straight year, Muir attributed the success to The Good Guys’ constant commitment to meeting and exceeding expectations.

“We know that we are only in business because of our customers so we make customer satisfaction our top priority and strive to deliver exceptional service every day both in-store and online,” Muir told me.

“Over the past few years we have focused on implementing a customer engagement model that helps us create a deeper relationship-based shopping experience with our customers, and our team members have worked tirelessly and diligently to ensure that our customers get the best possible service every day.”

“Winning the Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Award for a fourth consecutive year is a tremendous effort and validates the continued hard work of our store team members to deliver a consistently high level of customer service making The Good Guys the best electrical retailer in the country.”

Other winners include Target (Discount Department Store), David Jones (Department Store) and The Reject Shop (Discount Variety Store).
