Beko has confirmed world-renowned Italian chef Massimo Bottura has been appointed as global brand ambassador.

Beko has announced a new global partnership with world-renowned Italian chef Massimo Bottura, representing the next step in its mission to inspire a more sustainable and reliable way of living.

According to Beko ANZ marketing manager Amanda Hart, the collaboration that was unveiled recently at The Best Chef Awards in Milan, celebrates a shared passion for innovation, excellence, and long-term value; values that sit at the heart of both Beko and Bottura’s philosophy.

“As one of the world’s leading home appliance brands, Beko continues to redefine reliability and sustainability in modern living,” Hart said.

“Partnering with Bottura, a Michelin-starred chef and visionary advocate for sustainable gastronomy, underscores the brand’s commitment to meaningful innovation that goes beyond performance to make a real difference in people’s lives.

“Recognised by Time Magazine as one of the world’s most sustainable companies (ranked #17 globally and #1 in its industry), Beko brings to life a clear purpose: to enable consumers to live healthier, more sustainable lives through technology built to last.

“Bottura’s philosophy, that every daily act, from cooking to cleaning, can become an act of love for the planet, perfectly mirrors Beko’s belief that true innovation must serve both people and the environment.

This shared vision was on full display at The Best Chef Awards in Milan, where Beko served as the official Sustainability Partner. The event united culinary icons and rising stars from around the world, celebrating gastronomy as both a creative art and a cultural force for good.

“In line with its purpose-driven ethos, Beko sponsored the “Terroir Award”, recognising chefs who blend innovation and tradition to champion sustainability and local communities. This year’s recipient, Debora Fadul of DIACÁ in Guatemala City, was honoured for her extraordinary work connecting culinary innovation with environmental and cultural responsibility.

On stage to present the award, Massimo Bottura, now Beko’s global brand ambassador, reaffirmed the collaboration’s deeper message, that reliability, creativity, and sustainability can and must coexist.

“Together, Beko and Bottura are forging a shared journey: one that transforms technology and taste alike into enduring expressions of care, for homes, for communities, and for the planet.”Bottom of Form
