The award-winning wearable ionic air purifier, Airvida from ible Technology, is now available in Australia, enabling consumers to breathe in clean, purified air when on-the-go.
Airvida is the world’s smallest and most powerful wearable air purifier and was recently recognised as an honoree at the CES Innovation Awards 2020 for wearable technologies. It is tried and tested to generate more than two million ions/cm3 every 0.6 seconds – 100 times more than a forest – around the user’s facial area.
Founded in 2015, ible Technology is an IoT and wearable device company specialising in manufacturing wearable air purifiers using their own unique Breathing Pathway Eco Ion Technology that protects users from airborne allergens and pollen allergy including hay fever.
Certified and tested by leading institutions such as SGS and Japan Far Infrared Rays Association (JIRA) to hold the ability to generate large amounts of negative ion in a short period of time, effectively reducing inhalable PM2.5, 99.9% of pollen, 99.9% of Formaldehyde (CH2O), airborne allergens and up to 90% of bacteria around the user’s face.
Further testing alongside the Kitasato Research Center for Environmental Sciences in Japan also proves Airvida can effectively reduce 99.9% of common viruses in the air such as the seasonal flu or common cold after wearing the device over a short period of time.
There are three models in the air purifier series including the Airvida M1 (featured image), C1 (pictured above) and L1.
The Airvida M1is the smallest air purifier in the world and the lightest of the Airvida series at just 20 grams. The multifunctional air purifier comes with a titanium necklace, collar clip for dressier occasions, and charging dock that can also be used as desktop air purifier. It is now available in space black and pearl white for RRP $299 from Scorptec Computers, with additional retailers ranging the Airvida M1 at a later date.
Airvida C1 – launching soon – is the world’s only wearable air purifier designed for children aged 3 to 10 years. Weighing just 22grams, it features an FDA certified silicone case that prevents allergy and toxicity. It comes with a magnetic detachable strap, designed for safety and easy removal.
Airvida L1– also launching soon – is a wearable air purifier with patented double-vent design that generates two million negative ions/cm3 to purify PM2.5, reduce pollen and smoke around the face. Worn around the neck, it weighs just 70 grams for optimal comfort. It will be available in space black, pearl white and soft pink.
