Whirlpool has launched a consumer promotion to celebrate its 100th birthday. From now through to 8 February 2012, Whirlpool is giving away more than $100,000 in prizes, according to the supplier.
“What better way to celebrate our 100th birthday then by rewarding our customers with the chance to win an exciting prize?” asked trade marketing manager Steven Warner.

Prizes on offer include KitchenAid mixers, themepark holidays, holidays from Flight Centre and cash. To enter, consumers need to purchase any Whirlpool product and register this purchase on the Whirlpool website.
The major prize in this promotion is a Holden Cruz SRiV, which Whirlpool values at $31,500.
Whirlpool has prepared point of sale materials for retailers to display in support of this promotion.
