Amazon is releasing new products and services with ambient intelligence to enable devices to work seamlessly together.

The latest addition to the Echo Show line-up is the Echo Show 15 (pictured above) offering a 15.6-inch 1080p Full HD display. It can be mounted on a wall or placed on a counter, either in portrait or landscape orientation to help consumers stay organised, connected and entertained.

Built with the next-generation Amazon AZ2 Neutral Edge processor, redesigned home screen with more customisation options and new personalised features with visual ID, the Echo Show 15 will be available for RRP $399.

New Echo Buds sport an all-new design, premium audio engineering and custom-designed Active Noise Cancellation with quality microphones. Available for the first time in Australia from 27 October, the buds come in a corded or wireless variant for RRP $169 and $199 respectively.

The eero Pro 6 is the most powerful eero yet with tri-band Wi-Fi 6. With a built-in Zigbee smart home hub, it recognises the demands on home internet connections by allowing for faster and higher performing internet speeds. A single eero Pro 6 covers up to 190 square metres, while a three-pack can cover up to 560 square metres.

A first-of-its-kind robot that uses intelligent motion to watch the home and look out for household members has also been announced. It includes new advancements in artificial intelligence, computer vision, sensor technology, and voice and edge computing. Launch details for Australia and New Zealand are yet to be disclosed.

Amazon is also introducing new Alexa features to help consumers stay organised and entertained.

The new household calendar widget makes it easier to view and manage family schedules. Just tap the screen or ask Alexa to add events or appointments to allow household members to see the family’s daily schedule at a glance.

Using a new feature called visual ID, users can teach the device to recognise them when in front of the Echo Show camera to see a personalised view of daily events and reminders.

The new sticky notes feature will soon allow users to create and display digital sticky notes on Echo Show screens. Ask Alexa to save a note about where camping gear has been stored or what temperature dinner needs to be reheated at. Users can also create and assign notes to individuals to remind them of something or brighten their day.  The Ring range of products now offer custom event alerts that do everything from letting customers know when a package arrives, to whether the garage door is open on eligible devices.
