Amazon Australia has plans to onboard around 1,000 workers for the mid-year sales season, with seasonal jobs available at its fulfilment centres (FC) and logistics sites across the country, including its recently launched robotics FC in western Sydney.

The company is looking for workers with a range of experience and skill levels to help pick, pack and ship orders to customers across the country over the mid-year sales season which includes its own major event Prime Day in July.

Seasonal opportunities may present a path to employment with, and a longer-term career at, Amazon. Employees earn competitive pay and comprehensive benefits including subsidised healthcare and paid parental leave, as well as opportunities to grow their career within the company.

Amazon Australia country manager, Janet Menzies said, “As we ramp up operations ahead of Prime Day, we are excited to offer a diverse range of around 1,000 seasonal job opportunities across the country. This is a great opportunity for motivated, enthusiastic people from a range of backgrounds to work with our team over the mid-year sales period. Many of our current fulfilment centre employees started off in casual roles and have stayed on to grow exciting careers with us.”
