Amazon Australia has opened the application for 600 seasonal jobs across its fulfillment centres and logistics sites to support the mid-year sales season, including Prime Day in July.
The seasonal roles are available in Amazon sites in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, and Victoria.
Prime Day is Amazon’s annual Prime member exclusive shopping event, offering a range of products including everyday essentials, electronics, appliances, books, clothing, toys, and homewares.
“As we prepare for one of our biggest shopping events of the year, we’re excited to welcome hundreds of seasonal workers to our sites across our Australian operations network,” Jacqui Marker, HR Director of Operations at Amazon Australia, said.
“Whether someone is looking for temporary work or hoping to build a long-term career with Amazon, we’re proud to be creating job opportunities in our local communities while helping us deliver for our customers during Prime Day.”
The company noted that the seasonal roles can open opportunities for permanent employment, which offers employee benefits such as life insurance, income protection insurance, and subsidised private health cover for the entire family.
