SYDNEY, NSW: Fisher & Paykel has announced that two new cooking schools showcasing its cooking appliances will be opening this month in South Australia and Tasmania.

The Bottega Rotolo Cooking Schools (taking their name from a fine-foods providore founded in South Australia in 1995 by Rosalie Rotolo Hassan) will open their doors in Norwood, South Australia, as well as Hobart, Tasmania.

The two new Bottega Rotolo schools will join a group of other schools that hold alliances with Fisher & Paykel, including the Sydney Seafood School and Sydney Cooking School, Black Pearl Epicure in Fortitude Valley, Queensland, and Perth's Matter of Taste .

Fisher & Paykel general manager for marketing, Peter Russell, said that the schools offered a way for foodies to engage with the brand’s appliances.

“Bottega Rotolo is incredibly innovative and we are very enthusiastic about our association with the company which has a well-deserved reputation as a supplier of the very best quality food produce,” said Russell.

“The people behind the two cooking schools are passionate about teaching people how to cook delicious meals with the very best ingredients. We see this as a positive relationship and good way to showcase our premium cooking appliances to people who really care about food.”

Both the Hobart and Norwood schools will feature a range of F&P appliances, including 76cm Paris ovens, award winning CoolDrawers, DishDrawers, VentSurfaces, plus induction cooktops and the gas CookSurface.

According to Gwénaël Le Chenadec, Rosalie Rotolo Hassan’s business partner at Bottega Rotolo South Australia, the partnership is a good match.

“For us, Fisher & Paykel has a wealth of experience in kitchen appliances, which brings the best possible equipment to our new cooking school” she said.

Peter Russell agreed. “There is no better way to showcase F&P’s premium cooking appliances than enabling Australia’s budding chefs and home-cooks to experience the enjoyment of using these advanced products for themselves,” he said.

“We choose schools that reflect Fisher & Paykel’s brand values. All the schools we have partnered with encourage a passion for cooking and strive for the best, while still remaining accessible to everybody,” Russell added.

“Bottega Rotolo are incredibly passionate about food, and we are looking forward to a long association with these leaders and are so proud to have our appliances featured in these spaces”.
