Hipsters — listen up: the official Splendour in the Grass app is now out for iPhone and Android devices. Although this app will work on all networks, it is “officially presented” by Virgin Mobile.
Now in its 11th year, Splendour is Australia’s premier winter music festival, running for five consecutive days in Woodford, an hour north of Brisbane in Queensland. This year’s festival runs from 28 July through until 1 August 2011 (though only the three middle days feature major music acts).

The new app, which is free, features event information, line-up details, a timetable planner and social media connectivity.
Artists at this year’s festival include Coldplay, Kaiser Chiefs, Kanye West, The Panics and Modest Mouse.
iPhone users can download the app from the Apple App Store, while Android users can grab it from the Android Marketplace.
