In Q2 2020.

TCL is expanding its smartphone range with the 10 Series line-up that includes the company’s first 5G smartphone, the TCL 10 5G, the first device with a TCL-made curved AMOLED display, the 10 Pro and the 10L.

Local availability and pricing is yet to be confirmed for the TCL 10 5G but the TCL 10 Pro and TCL 10L will be available in Australia in Q2 2020 for RRP $899 and $499 respectively.

All devices leverage TCL-made displays and NXTVISION technology – a proprietary advanced display and camera visual technology with more true to life colour, clarity and contrast enhancements in real-time – as well as quad rear-camera setup and Qualcomm Snapdragon processors.

The TCL 5G brings 5G connectivity to consumers at a more affordable price point (399 Euro or sub-$700 AUD) when it launches in select regions later this year. Powered by Snapdragon 7 series 5G SoC for increased data bandwidth for faster uploads, downloads and upgraded Wi-Fi connection stability. Featuring a 6.53-inch Full HD+ Dotch display with 91% screen-to-body ratio, it sports a quad camera set up that includes a 64MP high resolution main camera, 118-degree ultra-wide-angle camera, macro camera and depth camera with Bokeh. The 16MP front facing camera has 4-in-1 big pixel technology that automatically combines four pixels into one to produce brighter photos, particularly in low-light conditions. It also has Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging technology and OTG reverse charging.

The TCL 10 Pro boasts a 6.47-inch Full HD+ curved AMOLED display with minimal bezels for a higher screen-to-body ratio and Edge Bar shortcuts for quicker access to apps. It includes a fingerprint scanner on the display and has AI-powered imaging technology on its four rear cameras – a 64MP high resolution camera, 2.9 micrometre big pixel low-light video camera, 123-degree super wide-angle camera and macro camera – as well as a 24MP front-facing camera. There is a hybrid auto focus solution for fast and crisp shots, in addition to super low light video and super wide-angle video capabilities. The TCL 10 Pro is one of few smartphones that is Netflix-certified to stream HDR10 videos.

The TCL 10L features a 6.53-inch Full HD+ Dotch display with 91% screen-to-body ratio and comes with four rear cameras and 16MP front facing cameras, all powered by AI technology, in addition to a Stop Motion video. It combines 6GB RAM with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor with an AI platform for fast performance and low power consumption.
