Mitsubishi Electric has promoted Ari Grimekis to technical manager to oversee multiple technology aspects of the company’s air conditioning products, including tech training for new and existing units across the country and at some international factories.

Grimekis has over 15 years of experience in the HVAC industry in engineering, business development, project engineering and electrical engineering. He will remain based in Sydney and continue to report to national product manager, Atesh Mani.

“My aim is to raise the standard of the world-class training that we do as a company and filter that through to our sales representatives and external consultants. I am keen to support this through my knowledge from past experiences and passion for technology, improving products for the HVAC industry and providing the correct solutions for our customers,” Grimekis said.

Mitsubishi Electric has also welcomed back Arnav Maini as senior product engineer after two years working with the company’s UK team. He has worked in the industry for more than eight years and is an experienced product support engineer skilled in HVAC design, CAD and engineering management.

In his new role, he will provide product support for air conditioning products. Drawing on his experience from the UK, he would like to bring some practices to Australia, such as resource investment in online training.

“My main goal is to have the right systems and resources in place to make everyone’s jobs easier in order to sell the product. We want to not only sell the products but also ideas, so it is important that our sales team are confident with our products.”
