Kitchen renovation mess with blueprints and tools

Bunnings has introduced a new Instagram Series – D.I.Y. Live – with affordable and simple projects, activities for kids and Q&As to improve productivity and bring joy as Australians spend more time at home due to COVID-19.

Bunnings stores remain open across the country but are now open exclusively to trade customers and emergency services before 9am and to the general public from 9am on weekdays. Stores now close at 7pm on weekdays to enable team members to re-stock shelves and conduct a thorough clean.

For its D.I.Y. Live series, Bunnings has partnered with home and lifestyle creators and Bunnings DIY team member experts including gardening and landscaping advice with Dale Vine, organisation tips from Steph Phase and DIY for kids with Adam Dovile.

Jess Holsman, who has shared low cost project tips for renters, said it is now more important than ever to come together as a community and find ways to make this period more manageable.

“I love how setting aside time to be creative can help us to be more mindful and stay in the present. Undertaking a DIY project is a great way to feel a sense of accomplishment and it takes your mind off those racing thoughts,” she said.

To watch the D.I.Y. Live livestream on @bunnings Instagram channel, tune in at 11am daily.
