D-Link has launched the Artificial Intelligence (AI) based DCS-8331KT Smart DIY security bundle. It is marketed as a total home monitoring solution that automates and controls devices throughout the home from anywhere. The bundle includes a Smart Full HD Wi-Fi camera with built-in Smart Home hub, smart door and window sensor, as well as a smart motion sensor. It also works seamlessly with the mydlink app, Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.
The Smart Full HD Wi-Fi camera blends AI and Intelligent Video Analytics (IVA) detection with 151-degree views of a room in true 1080p Full HD at 30 fps. A built-in Smart Home hub turns the camera into the brain of the mydlink DIY Smart Home, intended to take intelligent home security to a new level of smart, continuously recording video locally to a Network Attached Storage (NAS) device or Network Video Recorder NVR) to capture every moment.
The DCH-B112 smart door and window sensor integrates seamlessly with the DCS-8330LH Smart Home or Amazon Echo Plus detecting the opening and closing of doors and windows. The sensor can send motion detection alerts to a phone, has up to two years battery life and tamper detection. It is battery-powered for unrestricted placement and triggers automations with other mydlink cameras and smart plugs.
