After making its debut at CES Las Vegas last month, the Suunto 7 smartwatch that combines sports expertise with Wear OS by Google features, has landed on Australian shores.

The Suunto 7 interface is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 platform and integrates Google apps including Google Assistant, Google Pay and Google Fit, as well as more than 70 sport modes from running and cycling to skiing and surfing, on the ultra-bright OLED touch display.

Delivering up to 12 hours of battery life in continuous GPS Tracking mode, the built-in Suunto Heatmaps allow users to find the best training routes without their smartphone or without network connectivity. The Suunto 7 was designed and tested in Finland and is shockproof, waterproof and dirt proof.

It provides accurate exercise measurement with wrist-based heartrate tracking, barometer for elevation readings and training insights. Exercises and trends can be followed on the Suunto app or by connecting with partners such as Strava.

The Suunto 7 smartwatch is now available for RRP $799 at JB Hi-Fi, Suunto online and other specialty retailers.
