In light of travel restrictions prompted by the coronavirus, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) has rescheduled a number of its April fairs to July 2020. The Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition) and ICT Expo will now be held from July 25 to 28, 2020 alongside a number of other major fairs.

In a statement to Appliance Retailer, the HKTDC said the safety of exhibitors and buyers has always been a priority, and in line with the health measures taken by the Hong Kong SAR Government, a decision has been made in consultation with industry representatives to reschedule eight HKTDC trade fairs originally scheduled for April 6 to 30, 2020.

These also include the International Lighting Fair (Spring Edition), Houseware Fair, International Home Textiles and Furnishings Fair, Fashion Week, Gifts & Premium Fair and the International Printing & Packaging Fair which will be held concurrently from July 25-28, 2020 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre.

The HKTDC will inform exhibitors and buyers concerned by the rescheduling with detailed arrangements of the July fairs in due course.
