A unique offering in the market.

Finnish manufacturer of sports watches, dive computers and compasses, Suunto is launching the premium Suunto 7 smartwatch – which it claims to be an industry-first with sports features that won’t be found on other smartwatches on the market.

The Suunto 7, which was showcased at CES Las Vegas, is scheduled to become available in Australia from 31 January for RRP $799 from select retailers, including JB Hi-Fi.

Combining Suunto’s rich 84-year history in sports expertise with smart features from Wear OS by Google, including Google Assistant and Google Pay, the Suunto 7 comes with outdoor maps and over 70 sport modes, is shock-proof, waterproof and dirt proof. With built-in Suunto heatmaps across 15 activities, users can find their way and discover the best training routes, even without their smartphone and when network connectivity is not available.

Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100, Suunto 7 delivers up to 12 hours of battery life in continuous GPS tracking mode or 48 hours in daily use with accurate exercise tracking on the device and detailed training insights that can be accessed via the Suunto app and then shared with family and friends via email, social media, text message and more.
