CES 2020: Samsung Bespoke refrigerator responds to customisation trend

Based on customer insights.

Samsung unveiled its first customisable refrigerator – Bespoke – at CES Las Vegas, after making its debut at the Samsung Digital Plaza event in June 2019. Samsung Australia has confirmed that the refrigerator will launch in the Australian market in 2020.

The refrigerator will be available in eight different sizes with the ability to alternate compartments between being a fridge or freezer, and nine different colours with three door texture options.

Samsung Australia director of consumer electronics, Jeremy Senior said the new Bespoke refrigerator range gives Australian consumers the freedom to tailor their kitchen by colour and texture through interchangeable panels.

“The modular design of Bespoke responds to growing demand, especially in Australia, for appliances that can easily fit into a home’s décor. We design our products based on real insights from consumers and this includes an understanding for the way Australians want their technology and appliances to play a role in the home.

“The ability to customise and give consumers the choice to tailor product experiences is a key foundation for our approach to our evolving appliance range.”
