JBL will launch the Live 300TWS true wireless in-ear headphones and Tune 220TWS true wireless earbuds – an offering that will compete directly with Apple AirPods – due to launch in Australia in April 2020.
The JBL Live 300TWS offers JBL Signature Sound, contemporary design and IPX5 water resistance. The 300TWS has a built-in dual microphone for calls and over 20 hours of combined playback time with charging case. It is Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa compatible and features Ambient Aware to hear background noise and TalkThru technology to amplify speech at the touch of an earbud. Accompanied by the My JBL Headphones app with Find ‘My Buds’ feature, EQ customisation and configuration of touch controls.
The JBL Tune headphone line-up has grown with the addition of JBL Tune 220TWS with JBL Pure Bass Sound with 12.5mm driver, access to the native voice assistant on a user’s Android or iOS device and hands-free stereo calling capabilities. Designed for all day use, the 220TWS is engineered with an ergonomic design for comfort and offers 19 hours of combined playback time with its matching charging case. The 220TWS will be available in black and white with dusty pink set to be a likely additional colour choice for the local market.
