Recently-promoted Fisher & Paykel executive vice president – sales, Ben Normoyle, will relocate to New Zealand in February in his new role.
Normoyle was previously the chief operating officer of the Fisher & Paykel business in Australia for two years – commencing in the role from September 2017. Prior to this, Normoyle was GM of retail sales for approximately three and a half years after working as BDM for Harvey Norman in the whitegoods portfolio from 2010 to 2014.
An internal statement, obtained by Appliance Retailer, confirmed that in his new role Normoyle will join the Fisher & Paykel executive team based in New Zealand but will also travel to Australia and the United States as part of his role.
“This role is responsible for sales conversion and performance for our USA, Australia and New Zealand operations, as well as the retail experience and global sales training aspects of the business,” the statement said.
