To offer customers buy-now-pay-later option.

Amazon Australia customers will now be able to use Zip as a payment option for more than 125 million products across categories including electronics, beauty, home, gaming and more.

Amazon joins the likes of Bunnings, Kmart, Target and Big W, who also have a partnership with Zip that claims to have more than 1.5 million Australian customers.

An Amazon spokesperson commented, “We are excited to provide Amazon Australia customers another way to pay through Zip, enabling customers the option to pay at their pace with instalment options. Zip gives customers the option of short- or long-term repayments in weekly, fortnightly or monthly installments.”

Zip CEO and managing director, Larry Diamond said Amazon is a best-in-class retailer and Zip is looking forward to being able to give its customers a flexible way to pay.

“The agreement with Amazon Australia demonstrates that Zip is no longer an alternative, but a mainstream payment option. We welcome Amazon Australia to a list of more than 16,200 retailers who allow Australians to own the way they pay.”
