Winning Appliances and Appliances Online have signed a sponsorship agreement to become major partners of Australian Supercar racing team, Walkinshaw Andretti United.

As a platinum partner, Winning Appliances will take premium branding position on the sides of car No. 2, driven by Scott Pye and Warren Luff, while Appliances Online will be seen on the sides of car No. 22, with James Courtney and Jack Perkins behind the wheel.

Winning Group CEO, John Winning said the group had been looking to get involved in V8 Supercars since before the start of this season and have been holding out for the right synergy, team and brand. “The Walkinshaw family is synonymous with racing and as a family business, it was a natural fit to partner,” he said.

“We are thrilled to be part of the next four races, including the prestigious Bathurst 1000, Gold Coast 600, the Sandown 500 and Newcastle 500. The opportunity to connect with such a great team and drivers in a well-regarded sport and national competition, is something we are proud to be part of.

“We look forward to working with Walkinshaw Andretti United team and wish the drivers James Courtney, Scott Pye Warren Luff and Jack Perkins the best of luck, for the next four races.”

Walkinshaw Andretti United director, Ryan Walkinshaw said there is a fantastic synergy between his family and the Winning Group. “It’s great to be able to come together with a like-minded, family business for the rest of the Supercars season, at some of the biggest races of the year,” he said.

“Winning Appliances and Appliances Online offer an immersive and premium shopping experience. As Australia’s leading appliance retailer, their business foundations are something that resonate with us all.
