Smeg is strengthening its small appliance collection with the addition of a drip coffee machine. Designed in collaboration with Italian architects, Deepdesign, the machine features the brand’s signature retro style and is available in seven colours – black, panna (cream), red, pastel blue, pastel green, white and stainless steel.
Users can personalie their cup of coffee with the aroma function with options from delicate to intense, accompanied by the filtration system that extracts consistent flavour every time.
The machine has a four-cup function, 10 cup capacity, LED digital display, timer with auto start function and keep warm function to keep coffee at the optimal temperature for up to one hour.
According to Smeg national manager – small domestic appliances Arthur Banbas, convenience and quality are priority for customers looking for a coffee machine. “Customers want to be able to make the perfect aromatic brew crafted to suit their taste,” he told Appliance Retailer.
“It’s all about personalization with ease and Smeg’s new drip coffee machine does just that by delivering a rich, mellow taste with maximum flavour. With an auto-start function and variety of aroma intensities, the Smeg drip coffee machine will guarantee consistent flavour allowing users to enjoy professional quality coffee at home.”
The Smeg drip coffee machine is now available from selected retailers and department stores with RRPs from $279.
