Confirms six new members.
On the back of the recent BSR national conference in Hawaii, the group has wrapped up their national buying convention on the Gold Coast.
Attracting over 260 guests, the convention is designed for members and suppliers to capitalise on exclusive deals and prepare for the busy trading period ahead.
BSR Group CEO, Graeme Cunningham told Appliance Retailer, “Our buying convention not only presents a wonderful opportunity for members and suppliers to network and prepare for the important Black Friday and Christmas sales period, it also affords us an opportunity to officially welcome our new members into the group.”
The group has welcomed 10 new members since the last buying convention in March and announced a further six members which will join the group in the coming weeks.
“In a market that has reported flat to modest growth, it is evident that our group is bucking the trend, with strong growth in all major categories, ahead of the market. This reaffirms our strategic direction is on the mark and positions our members well to benefit both now and into the future.
“Our strategy and infrastructure also present as an appealing option for independent retailers and retail groups looking for support,” Cunningham said.
