With new front-load models.

LG is releasing new front-load washing machines, equipped with AI technology and proprietary Direct Drive motor.

The range, consisting of seven models, uses LG AI Direct Drive technology to review historical wash data and apply optimal drum movement sequences to the wash cycle, based on weight and garment fabric.

TurboClean incorporated into various machines in the range delivers shorter wash times as little as 39 minutes to complete a half load of lightly soiled clothes. Series 9 washers utilise a Multi Spray system, which means jets of water from four different directions simultaneously, speed the washing and rinsing process.

The machines also incorporate a stainless-steel inner drum, tempered glass door front and a 10-year parts warranty on the Direct Drive motor.

LG Electronics senior marketing manager – home appliances, Brad Reed said, “The advancements in technology in these machines with the addition of AI technology delivers considerable added customer benefits over our previous machines and sets these washers apart from our competitors.

“It is this kind of innovation that consumers have come to expect from LG as we seek to provide the best possible solutions in innovative home appliances to make people lives easier.”

The new range consists of Series 5 (available in 7.5kg, 8kg and 9kg) with RRPs from $839, Series 7 (8kg and 9kg variants) with RRPs from $1,139 and Series 9 (also 8kg and 9kg variants) with RRPs from $1,319.

All models, excluding Series 5 WV5-1275-7.5kg, are TwinWash system compatible, meaning they can be paired with an LG Mini Washer.
