Smeg strengthens its dishwasher collection

With internal enhancements.

Smeg has launched a new collection of dishwashers with the company’s signature Made in Italy design, six star WELS water efficiency rating (the highest rating awarded and the first to be achieved by a dishwasher in Australia) and four star energy rating on all 15 place setting dishwashers – the highest rating possible.

The Oribtal Wash system maximises sprinkling efficiency with nine spray jets that clean up and down simultaneously. Meanwhile, the patented Planetary Wash system, featured in the Diamond Series products, offers a unique rotation around two axes, delivering the most intensive wash action to date.

The Smart Dry drying system lowers the temperature during the final rinse before automatically opening the door for a super dry result. The new system is accompanied by a redesigned baskets to accommodate wider storage, flexible loading and stability for utensils, cutlery and crockery.

Built in Smeg’s Bonferraro factory, the new dishwashers pioneer a new way of washing for a consistent clean and dry finish.

Smeg national marketing manager, Olivia Anderson said since the introduction of Smeg’s first-ever dishwasher over 50 years ago, the company has been dedicated to constantly evolving its technology to take the load off keeping dishes clean.

“By redesigning the internal elements of our dishwashers, we are able to consistently deliver the most efficient, innovative kitchen essentials that are easy to use and guarantee new-look dishes with every wash.”
