Fujitsu General has updated its lifestyle range of reverse cycle wall mounted split systems. Three models, the ASTG18/22/24MTC feature a slimmer, less obtrusive design to previous units for seamless integration into contemporary homes. These are also the most efficient with an improved star rating for heating mode while the ASTG18MTC carries an improved star rating in cooling mode.
An upgraded heat exchanger has improved heat exchange efficiency significantly and a large cross flow fan allows efficient air volume to be obtained at a low power.
Human Sensor Control detects movement of people within a room to deliver optimum efficiency and temperature control, switching to energy saving operation when no movement is detected in the room after 20 minutes. The apple catechin filter maintains indoor air quality with fine dust, invisible mould spores and harmful microorganisms absorbed onto the filter by static electricity. Further growth is inhibited and deactivated by the polyphenol ingredient extracted from apples.
The range is available in a wide variety of sizes to suit most requirements, from 2.50kW to 9.40kW, with RRPs starting from $1,619.
