With premium soundbar.

Sennheiser has launched a sleek soundbar under the audio specialists Ambeo trademark, the company’s first foray into the home entertainment speaker category.

First unveiled at CES in January, the soundbar harnesses the power of a multi-speaker home cinema system in one device, with a fully immersive 3D experience. Powered by 13 high-end drivers it delivers a 5.1.4 sound experience and a deep 30Hz bass without the need for additional speakers or an external subwoofer.

The Ambeo 3D audio technology program transforms the way users experience content and features five presets – movies, music, sports, news and neutral.

“We have developed it with the ambition to create one of the best soundbars on the market , an elegant all-in-one solution for all those seeking an immersive 3D, audiophile-grade home entertainment experience,” global head of products, Stephane Hareau said.

The smart control app for iOS and Android, allows users to adjust acoustic settings via smart devices, including setting presets, personalising the sound with the equalizer and selecting from three different Ambeo modes with upcoming new features added via Wi-Fi and app updates. It is compatible with Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and MPEG-H with advanced connectivity via built-in Chromecast, Bluetooth and HDMI eARC.

The soundbar comes with a calibration microphone that adapts its sound signature to the specifics of the room. The RRP is $3,999.
