Mitsubishi Electric Australia has promoted several team members within its heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) division. These promotions follow a fourth consecutive record-breaking financial year.
Rob Seeley, Brett Morgan and Mark Lo Basso have been promoted to the position of HVAC state managers.
Geoff Watson (pictured below) has been promoted to HVAC sales manager for VIC/TAS. Joining the management team in the Melbourne office, Geoff has been with the company for 12 months and has brought a wealth of experience from working in managerial roles in the HVAC industry both in Australia and overseas for the past 20 years.
Geoff’s promotion will allow him to share his knowledge with the Notting Hill based team whilst he focuses on growing sales across Victoria and Tasmania.
“Mitsubishi Electric is a fantastic organisation and has a great team culture who are extremely passionate about what they do. I am excited to pass on my knowledge and I look forward to growing the business across the southern states with the team’s support,” he said.
Mick McKay (pictured below) has been promoted to the position of HVAC sales manager for WA. Mick brings 23 years of industry experience to his new role, having previously been a senior HVAC sales executive.
He was appointed to his new role after Mark Lo Basso’s promotion to HVAC state manager for SA/WA. Mick is excited to expand the dealer base and drive product growth in the market. He will work with a team of six direct reports who he hopes to mentor via his previous managerial experiences.
“This is a very important role for Western Australia as there is great opportunity for growth here in the domestic environment. I look forward to the new challenges and am confident that we are going to build a fantastic rapport with local clients. We have got a fantastic team and premium products,” he said.
Steve Hughes will make a return to the company to support Brett in the position of HVAC sales manager, South East Queensland.
