To raise funds for homeless.

Fujitsu General Australia and New Zealand managing director, Philip Perham, will be participating in his second Vinnies CEO Sleepout in Sydney on 20 June, 2019. Perham will join more than 350 CEO’s raising funds and awareness to help combat homeless and associated issues by sleeping outside for one night.

“A home is something most of us take for granted and are lucky enough to enjoy each evening. For many thousands of people around Australia this is unfortunately not the case and it’s hard to comprehend what life must be like for those who find themselves in this situation,” Perham said.

“I am hoping that my participation again this year can bring attention to this community issue and provide funding for important initiatives designed to address homelessness and to create positive life changes for those most in need.

“Fujitsu General takes social responsibility very seriously, which includes volunteer days for employees to support their charity of choice. It’s important for us to understand that it could be those we work with closely who could find themselves in a homeless situation, whether that’s through domestic violence or mental illness.”

To date, Perham has raised $18,910 towards his fund-raising goal of $27,000. This means his support has already helped Vinnies provide 60 individual support programs, 157 beds and 630 meals.
