Samsung rolls out thinnest tablet yet

With premium design, innovative features.

Samsung Electronics Australia has released its thinnest tablet to date, the Galaxy Tab S5e, along with the Galaxy Tab A 10.1. The Galaxy Tab S5e measures just 5.5mm in thickness and weighs 400g and is available in a range of colours including black and silver.

The 10.5-inch edge to edge display, narrow bezels and Super AMOLED screen produces outstanding detail. The visuals are complemented with rich sound thanks to its quad speakers, which incorporate auto rotate stereo technology designed to adapt to how the tablet is being held, whether portrait or landscape. The Tab S5e can also be used to manage and control the household through SmartThings. Combined with the new Bixby 2.0 (coming soon) to control compatible appliances using voice.

The portable Galaxy Tab A 10.1 brings together incredible display, design, and up to 13 hours of video. Offering an immersive experience, it has a widescreen display for enjoying content. Minimal bezels keep the footprint of the tablet small, and its compact form factor makes it easy to carry and comfortable to hold. With a dual speaker system powered by Dolby Atmos, the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 helps deliver 3D sound.

Designed for the family, the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 comes with the Family Share feature to view and send Gallery, Calendar, Samsung Notes, and reminders across devices connected to the same family group. Samsung Kids Home helps shape a safe environment for children to explore and connect with the digital realm.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e will be available starting at $649, and the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 will be available starting at $349 through Samsung.com.au and major retailers and carrier partners.
