For dealers and retail customers.

Fujitsu General was host to more than 30 dealer and retail customers for a unique A-League soccer experience with the inaugural Fujitsu Cup, hosted by Sydney Football Club.

As part of a new relationship building initiative, following the announcement of Fujitsu General Australia’s partnership with Sydney FC in October last year, the VIPs went head to head playing a 40-minute football match at Sydney FC’s training ground at Macquarie University.

Greeted by Sydney FC CEO, Danny Townsend and head coach Steve Corica, both teams were taken on tour of the facilities, followed by a match day warm-up. Coached by Sydney FC’s assistant coaches, Ufuk Talay and Rob Stanton, the two teams battled it out.

“The Fujitsu Cup is a chance for Fujitsu General’s dealers and retail customers to come together and enjoy an A-League experience day, courtesy of our new partnership with Sydney FC,” Fujitsu General sales and marketing general manager, Dave Smith said.

“It’s a great way for the team at Fujitsu General to network with dealer and retail customers in a relaxed environment while enjoying some healthy competition on the field.”

Team Talay took home the inaugural Fujitsu Cup after winning on penalties, after a five-all draw at full time. The captain of the winning team, Sprio Hantzis from Bing Lee Rockdale took home the Man of the Match prize of two Sydney FC home game hospitality passes.
