Confirms availability and pricing.
Arlo has confirmed the availability and pricing for the new Arlo Ultra, Arlo Audio Doorbell and Arlo Chime, during CES in Las Vegas. The security products were first unveiled at a Sydney media event last month.
The Arlo Ultra wire-free security camera system (pictured) will be available from late January with pricing starting from $1,049 for the two-camera system and one-year subscription to Arlo Smart Premier.
The Arlo Audio Doorbell and Arlo Chime are now being rolled out into Australian retail stores for RRP $129 and $99, respectively. The new devices can be paired with Arlo wire-free cameras and smart lights or serve as a standalone doorbell solution.
The Arlo Audio Doorbell allows users to interact with visitors from their smartphone, using the Arlo app. If paired with an Arlo wire-free camera, users can detect people with the Arlo Smart subscription service plan. It replaces traditional push-button doorbells and calls the user’s smartphone when the doorbell is pressed. Easy to install, it has a weather-resistant design.
The Arlo Chime works in tandem with the Arlo Audio Doorbell and wire-free cameras to transmit instant alerts to any room where plugged in. With volume control and melody options, Arlo Chime can produce an audible alert loud enough to serve as an 80+ decibel siren, while Silent Mode will disable alerts and disruptions.
Arlo users can add on Arlo Smart – the recently launched subscription services plan that utilises intelligent algorithms and advanced analytics to deliver more personalised notifications and added peace of mind. Available for purchase through the Arlo web portal or Arlo app.
Arlo Technologies APAC vice president and managing director, Brad Little said, “The Arlo Audio Doorbell and Chime build on the success of our wire-free camera systems by allowing users to easily engage with entryway visitors from anywhere.
“Seamless remote, two-way communication via their smartphone ensures that whether a resident is travelling, at the office, or just in the backyard, they are able to easily communicate with guests. And because the Audio Doorbell integrates into an Arlo wire-free camera setup, users are able to truly round out their home security ecosystem for added peace of mind.”
