Canon Australia general manager of sales, Troy Cabot will leave the business after 11 years of service to join his family on the mid-north coast. Canon senior manager of national business, Aaron Berthelot (pictured) has been confirmed as his successor.

Canon director of consumer imaging, Jason Mclean commented, “Troy has made the decision to join his family based five hours north of Sydney so, while we are very sorry to see him go, we are happy that he is taking this step in the best interests of his family.

“In his eleven years at Canon, Troy’s unwavering dedication, leadership and partnership with our retailers has grown the consumer imaging business into what it is today. Testament to Troy’s leadership of the sales team within Canon, our strong talent management and succession planning process has enabled us to be well prepared to recruit the best replacement without delay.”

Berthelot has been with Canon Australia for more than seven years in various sales leadership positions. During this time he has been a constant high-performer, contributing to Canon’s run of record global results in Australia.

“We are thrilled to welcome Aaron to the leadership team to make his own mark on the role and we will commence the handover now to ensure a smooth transition at the end of the year,” Mclean said.
