Rawsons has opened South Australia’s first dedicated Weber Store after three years as a Weber specialist dealer. The indoor outdoor showroom, which measures 250sqm, has all Weber BBQs and almost every Weber accessory displayed as they would be in the home.
Rawsons sales director, Jon Pysing told Appliance Retailer that the partnership was a perfect fit as outdoor cooking and entertaining continues to grow in popularity.
“The world’s best BBQ brand has partnered with South Australia’s oldest household appliance business,” he said.
“Weber sits nicely alongside our leading brands including Miele, Gaggenau, Smeg, Franke and Liebherr just to name a few. Weber has helped drive more customer traffic to Rawsons because of its standing as first choice BBQ equipment.
“Customers can experience hands-on BBQ cooking in a dedicated alfresco kitchen with all models, including the just released Weber Pulse electric BBQ and the Weber Summit Smoker able to be tested onsite before buying.”
In 2019, Rawsons will partner with Weber to bring Weber Grill Academy experiences to customers, based on the successful American Grill Academy that Weber is renowned for.
Rawsons will also soon showcase luxury bathroomware from Gessi and Abey in a unique setting in an old home adjacent to its Plympton showroom.
