A first for the brand.

Fisher & Paykel has released a 10kg front loader washer, the largest capacity front load washing machine to be released by the brand. It carries the same footprint as a smaller machine, making it ideal for compact laundries.

In addition to greater drum capacity there are 13 specialist wash cycles from delicate, bulky and every day to cotton, handwash and heavy, each powered by Fisher & Paykel’s SmartDrive technology, that uses electronic feedback from the direct drive motor to adjust and optimise every wash cycle for complete fabric care and effective results.

The everyday cycle washes mixed loads, while the comprehensive cotton cycle is specifically designed for all essential cottons. The handwash and delicate cycles gently wash and lift stubborn stains from special-care fabrics such as linen and wool. Turbo-boost technology speeds up the cleaning process by forcing water from the bottom of the drum into and through clothes so that detergent and heat reach fabrics faster.

Side paneling and engineered feet are said to keep noise and vibration to a minimum. The add a garment function allows customers to pause the wash mid cycle for adding or removing any sized item, while Vortex wash means most cycles take less than an hour to complete without compromising on care.

RRP for the WH1060P1 is $1,649.
