Along with two 4K models.

The first 8K TV from TCL, the X10, was unveiled at IFA in Berlin last week and has been confirmed for an early 2019 Australian launch.

The X10 model was one of the three 2019 Australian models on preview at the event. Alongside the new 8K model, TCL announced the new Frame TV+ and the X8.

With built-in Alexa, Google Assistant, and Android O operating systems, all three models use AI powered technologies with the latest developments in picture and sound. The televisions feature Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and Quantum Dot picture technology, as well as Onkyo sound technology and Dolby Atmos.

TCL Australia national sales director, Jason Carrick said, “TCL’s 2019 range will give Australian consumers the opportunity to experience a new level of immersive and seamless entertainment. Our new models aim to enhance this experience but also prepare them for new developments in the market, such as the introduction of Google Assistant.

“Over the last few years we have had a strong focus on integrating our technology into the way we live – both from a user experience and home design perspective. TCL’s 2019 range will focus on AI T-Home, to continue to utilise developments in AI and drive a seamless connected life by connecting all smart home services.”

Further information on availability and pricing for the new 2019 TCL Australia range will be released early next year.
