Siemens has introduced key innovations in cooking, refrigeration and laundry at IFA in Berlin this week.

The new Siemens freeInduction Plus cooktops in the StudioLine range cater up to six pots and pans with 56 oval micro-inductors that automatically detect the position and shape of the cookware. It features the largest Siemens full touch TFT display at 6.2 inches and world-first activeLight – two LED blue light bars for visual feedback during the cooking process.

The new Siemens French Door refrigerator has a black glass finish with an integrated user interface only visible when in use. It has 25% more internal storage than a comparable multi-door refrigerator and 39 LED lights compared to an average of eight LEDs, in addition to a hyperFresh premium cooling system. The refrigerator can be operated via the Home Connect app.

The Siemens iQ500 washer-dryer is the first of its kind to be connected via the Home Connect app. With a 10kg wash capacity and 6kg dry capacity, the machine calculates the degree of soil level, in addition to type and weight of clothes with iDos precision dosing. The new smartFinish program can freshen up and dry clothing with minimal ironing required.
