Two new models.

Sharp Corporation has released two new business models in its colour document systems Pro Series. The MX-7090N and MX-8090N, replace the MX-6500N and MX-7500N in the Sharp lineup.

The new models carry features intended to improve productivity of businesses by providing high-quality and cost-effective prints and scans. The enhanced series boasts copy and print speeds of up to 80 ppm; complemented by a 150 sheet dual head scanner which scans up to 200ipm (2X improvement in scan speeds).

The next generation customisable user interface has a touch screen display that encompasses a swing-out keyboard and touchpad with smooth navigation while the workstation is fully integrated with the touchscreen for unmatched control, ease of use and short turnaround times. The edge-to-edge printing feature is an industry first for toner based colour products and delivers up to 120 pages of full-bleed booklets, including square fold. Triple air-feed paper handling technology maximises uptime and increases maximum paper capacity for a wide range of specialty stocks, ensuring high quality of insourced jobs.

“The new and improved models are a perfect fit for the converging market between high-speed departmental and professional printing that continues to see prints trickle down from traditional printing methods,” Sharp B2B national sales and marketing manager, Daniel Gard said.
