Nespresso kicks off Father’s Day promo

To drive foot traffic, sales.

Nespresso has commenced its ‘Our Gift To You’ promotion for Father’s Day, offering consumers the opportunity to receive $50 to spend on Nespresso coffee capsules when they purchase any Nespresso coffee machine from Monday 30 July to Sunday 16 September, 2018.

“Nespresso recognises the importance of partnering with retailers to drive promotional sales during key gift giving periods throughout the year, providing an incentive for consumers to purchase,” trade marketing manager, Julie Forato told Appliance Retailer.

“A strong promotional program is considered essential to driving foot traffic and sales, as well as rewarding consumers who choose to purchase.”

Forato is confident the seven-week promotion will be popular in the lead up to Father’s Day, where sales typically peak for the coffee machine category.

“It has been well received by retailers with a strong call to action and the offer is available for purchases across all Nespresso Original and VertuoPlus coffee machine ranges, making it easy for consumers to understand and absorb the offer in seconds.”

The promotion will be supported by point-of-sale materials, where the offer circle and call to action is prominent.
