After five years at the helm of Leading Edge Group in Australia, Graham Dear will commence the next chapter of his career by taking on a new internal role of Digital Solutions CEO. For the past 18 months, he has been devoted to the growth of the Digital Solutions business and Redeem marketplace app.
Dear joined Leading Edge Group 13 years ago and in 2007, went on to lead the Computers group in Australia, where he was instrumental in moving the group forward as SMB resellers and consequently ensuring the long-term success of members. He then took on the CEO role in 2013.
Leading Edge Group CEO, Struan Abernethy said, “There is no doubt Graham has had a significant impact on our Australian business. On a personal note I would like to thank Graham for all his support and guidance as I have come up to speed with the Australian business.
“He has a wealth of knowledge that he is only too eager to share and no doubt you have experienced his generosity and support as a part of our group.”
In the short term, the Australian leadership team will report directly into Abernethy and Dear’s replacement will be announced in due course.
