For a touch of fun.

Artusi is capitalising on the resurgence of the retro trend that first become a design fad in the late 1990s with its latest range of retro refrigerators in black, white and red for an RRP of $1,699.

A first for the brand, the range offers a retro design on the exterior with modern features on the interior including a wine drawer, LED lighting, static cooling and added freezer section.

Eurolinx marketing manager, Daniel Bertuccio said consumers are embracing what would be considered a mixed style that combines modern with a touch of retro.

“The retro style is accented through a pop of colour or a statement appliance or furniture piece. Today every kitchen needs a stand out colourful product; this was commonly a small appliance such as the baby pink toasters and kettles or the bright and fun mixer range,” he said.

“Now larger appliances are taking the lead. Appliances like Artusi’s retro refrigerator feed off this design trend of diversity in the kitchen and include a touch of personality and fun. In modern design, this style direction is particularly popular in loft style living.”
