For the first time, the new HP Pavilion Wave desktop will offer Amazon Alexa built-in to complement its sleek, modern and compact design and fully integrated audio. The desktop, claimed to be ‘coming soon’, will start from $549.99 RRP.
HP has also taken a new approach to the traditional tower with an 85 per cent volume reduction compared to conventional towers, thanks to its triangular design to optimise its layout.
Alexa can check calendars, create lists, answer questions, read the news, set timers and more. Users can also play songs on Amazon Music, iHeartRadio and SiriusXM, as well as dim the lights, turn up the temperature or switch off the lights all via voice.
Amazon Alexa is also expected to be available on select desktop models from Acer, Asus and Lenovo.
